WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We’re looking for a Content Specialist to join our team of self-starters who is both passionate and creative. You will be responsible for copywriting and content marketing on behalf of the larger marketing team. Candidates must embrace taking on simultaneous challenges in a fast-paced environment.

We are a rapidly growing healthcare technology company in one of the most dynamic industries today. We are also in one of the most exciting stages of growth as we’ve recently joined forces with the 42nd most recognizable brand in the world, AXA, taking a huge step towards transforming U.S. healthcare and pushing our brand and mission even further to build buzz and demand generation. This position will be pivotal in our success as we try to keep up with our rapid growth. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Write marketing content and sales collateral including sell sheets, print ads, webinar slide decks, sales decks, microsites, landing pages, etc.  

  • Provide thoughtful creative direction to graphic design team and animators to help visually paint the story the content needs to tell

  • Work with SMEs to create thought leadership content, including blog posts, bylines, whitepapers, infographics, video scripts, case studies, etc.

  • Create presentations for sales and executives for industry speaking opportunities, prospect meetings and webinars

  • Collaborate with graphic design team to ensure brand consistency and edginess

  • Collaborate with marketing team to create and maintain an active and relevant presence across social media channels

  • Edit, proofread and improve content and marketing materials

  • Maintain consistent brand voice, style and tone across all content pieces

  • Work closely with marketing project managers to provide meaningful insights about specific pieces of content and the strategic use of content 

  • Take a leadership role in creative brainstorming and ideating concepts for marketing campaigns

  • Responsible for delivering an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives

  • Possess a basic understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement

  • Manage sponsored media program, including creation of display ads, curation of content, etc. 

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Ability to keep it simple and easy to understand while talking to those inside and outside of the healthcare profession

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience in Communications, Journalism, or English

  • 4+ years of experience in a content role and possess excellent writing and editing skills

  • Understanding of the health and benefits industry is highly preferred

  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it. An innate understanding of how to structure a story and explain concepts using clear everyday language.

  • Ability to work with SMEs, sales and product stakeholders successfully and respectfully

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Project management skills and ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with MS Office, WordPress and/or email marketing software

  • Strong ability to convey concepts creatively, logically, and concisely

  • A strong sense of humor: you don’t add hilarity around an explanation; the explanation should itself be witty
