Kim Howe

Kim is Maestro Health’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources. She brings over 30 years of experience in HR, operations and management. She has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including developing and implementation of policy, programs, procedures, systems and tools.

In her time with Maestro Health, Kim has led several large initiatives and helped to streamline performance procedures, recruitment and internal mobility.

Prior to joining Maestro Health, Kim spent 19 years at Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield as AVP Finance and Operations with the newly formed subsidiary, EBS. EBS specialized in self-funded medical/dental/vision, flexible spending accounts, COBRA, and premium billing services.  As an original member of this start up, Kim was responsible for human resources, finance, IT, customer service, claims, membership and billing. Kim successfully established and grew the organization during periods of exponential growth.

Kim then joined the Human Resources team at AXA Equitable where she spent over 13 years leading operations and payroll for over 20,000 employees, agents and retirees. Using her expertise in Lean Process Improvement and Change Management Certification (ADKAR Methodology), she implemented numerous process improvement initiatives and transformation efforts.  She then transitioned to the Finance Transformation team as Senior Director where Kim was responsible for developing and executing against numerous strategic Finance Transformation projects including standing up the Finance IPO Readiness Program.  Consisting of over 40 projects to prepare Finance for the IPO offering, Kim played a critical role in AXA listing on the NYSE in May of 2018.

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Kim moved to Charlotte with her husband just over three years ago to be with their children and grandchildren.
