WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and efficient reporting as well as the input of data related to core business in our self-funded business. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Act as a point of contact for clients’ direct requests for consulting support, reporting and analytics
Perform business analysis, identify root cause and develop recommendations and solutions to drive process improvements
Create analytic solutions by exploring innovative data and techniques
Perform data abstraction, cleansing, validation, modeling, interpretation and reporting
Act as the data expert, leading the way in data discovery, both proactively and by request, to identify key insights and trends
Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytics within an agreed upon SLA
Ensure solutions meet the clients’ needs, support the extraction of actionable information and align with client objectives
Participate in complex data related analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficiencies

WHAT YOU NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in data analysis preferably in the healthcare industry
Strong experience in querying and structuring relational databases using SQL, with 5 or more years of experience developing operational reporting and performing complex data analysis
3+ years of experience in business intelligence platform such as Tableau or like platforms
Experience with Oracle programming a big plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Expert Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Ability to integrate and analyze multiple sources of data
Ability to effectively interact with business partners and external clients
Excellent prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Commitment to quality, motivated self-starter who takes ownership of work
Ability to work independently as a self-starter
