Sharon Lanera

Sharon Lanera is Maestro Health’s Chief Financial Officer. With over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, human resources and higher education, Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the leadership team. Prior to her role as Chief Financial Officer, Sharon served Maestro Health as Controller, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Vice President of Finance. Sharon joined Maestro Health in 2018.

Sharon started her career as an accounting professor at William Rainey Harper College. In 2004, she joined Forsythe Technology, a 100% employee-owned tech company specializing in IT infrastructure, security, and cloud and managed solutions. During her 14-year tenure at Forsythe, Sharon led accounting workstreams for the Finance Transformation initiative, led annual operating planning and mid-year forecasts, implemented monthly business reviews, directed the creation of a CapEx Analysis Tool, launched the annual Capital Expenditure evaluation process and partnered with the Executive Vice President of Solutions to implement a growth strategy for the professional services business unit.

Sharon has a master’s degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University and a certificate in Corporate Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and daughter and her most recent accomplishment is a 378-day streak on Duolingo.
