Maestro Health is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a key person to support our stop-loss sales efforts. The Stop-Loss Sales Coordinator will have a challenging and unique position supporting the sales team and managing all aspects of the stop-loss pre-sales process. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate initiative, drive, the ability to effectively multi-task and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done to facilitate the company’s growth and success. On a daily basis, you will be expected to:

  • Take initiative, understand our business and know what it takes for our sales team to be successful

  • Coordinate and communicate with various stop-loss carriers for our self-funded business

  • Communicate with brokers and internal teams

  • Look at claims data and understand how that information will help you negotiate with the carriers

  • Interact with the internal team to gather the necessary information to create a compelling proposal for our clients

  • Negotiate the best rates with our stop-loss carriers for our clients’ business

  • Prepare data reporting packages for stop-loss coverage marketing

  • Run reports from internal systems and gather pertinent information

  • Assists in the development, completion and submission of bids and proposals for prospects, clients and vendors

  • Develop and improve language and materials for the completion of informational and pricing requests

  • Handle other ad-hoc projects as needed


  • Delivering successful information to the proposal team in a timely manner

  • Meeting all deadlines for proposal submissions

  • Being adaptable, resourceful and able to handle anything that crosses your desk

  • 1-3 years of sales operations experience, ideally in a health insurance company

  • Strong experience with Excel and other data software

  • Experience working on proposals and gathering information

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to weave data into a compelling narrative

  • Negotiation skills and the ability to create beneficial agreements for our customers

  • Strong follow-through and assertiveness
